Pollock Executive armchairs – Code 1340

Vintage seats mod. “Executive” designed by Charles Pollock for Knoll.
The Pollock Executive armchair presents what the designer has described as “circle technology” – that is, the use of a single aluminum band around the perimeter of the chair to keep it together, structurally and visually. Fifty years after its introduction, the Pollock chair continues to communicate timeless elegance.
Structure: black molded plastic shell. Peripheral edge in bright chromed extruded aluminum. The structure is designed to support the plastic shell, the covering and the base fixing bridge. Upholstery: polyurethane foam, covered in leather. Height adjustment lever with gas cylinder: allows the seat to be moved up and down for a stroke of 80 mm. The gas cylinder is located inside the central column of the base. The inclination of the backrest can be blocked with the same lever in a straight position. Inclination adjustment: the oscillating action is obtained by adjusting a screw that compresses a spring inside the mechanism. Base: 5-spoke die-cast aluminum.
