This chair was designed by architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958, to be located in the lobby of the Radisson SAS hotel in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
Since the atrium was very large and open, surrounded by glass windows, he thought of a seat that could “gather” the visitor in a sort of private corner.<\/p>\n
So much so that he thought of an enveloping seat, with impeccable comfort and functionality, and called it Eggs.<\/p>\n
An intimate and private “nest” that became an icon of Design.<\/p>\n
