\nIn these years some important exponents of the design world , such as C.and R. Eames , Saarinen and Bertoia, experimented with the use of different materials, applying them to objects for everyday use, thus bringing, as in this case, an innovation in the functional use of iron.
\nDue to the sculptural presence and the harmony of the forms that welcome and embrace the guest, these seats are very significant for innovation .
\nAlthough they are made of seemingly rigid material, they are unexpectedly welcoming, enveloping and comfortable.
\nThey thus demonstrate that, even with just the essential” skeleton” of an object, perfect use can be achieved ; the important thing is the balance between form and proportion.<\/p>\n
These seats are period originals. For proper conservation restoration we had them sandblasted and powder coated .
\nYou can still see some marks in the iron frame , proof that they are period originals .
\nThey are in very good condition .
