Terms of sale
The DANORD site is a showcase of furniture, lamps and research objects, both original vintage (from the 1920s to the 1970s), and of new production.
With these general conditions, we are to illustrate the operation of our site and the methods of purchase, rental, or selection of the goods object of our sales or of our interest.
Our assets differ in:
1) Vintage originals: all of the items under this category are up for sale. The description, including measurements and historical information, can be found by clicking on the product photo. You can write to us directly, by clicking on “REQUEST INFORMATION”, we will reply as soon as possible. In our reply e-mail, we will provide you with all the information necessary for the completion of the purchase of the product of your interest. The conclusion of the purchase contract will be considered valid as the order confirmation e-mail is sent by DANORD. The e-mail contains the invoice with all the provided customer’s data, the order number, the price of the goods purchased, the shipping costs, and the delivery address where the goods will be sent.
As for the shipment, we can arrange different options at a different price point for both Italy and abroad.
In order to do that, we will need you to provide us with the destination ZIP code.
We always advise our customers to also include insurance, in order to be protected in case of damage during shipping.
We personally take care of the renovation and restoration of our original objects and of each and every packaging before delivery.
Every piece of furniture at the time of shipment is in excellent condition and, in case of damage, once the items are received by the buyer, no returns are expected.
This is also because these pieces of furniture cannot be replaced with others (since they are originals).
2) New production: under this category you can consult the products by searching directly on the sites of the various companies of our selection.
We will be at your disposal to provide you with all the information, prices, and delivery times for the products of your interest.
Working together with companies all over Italy and Europe, we prefer to have the products in your order shipped directly from our partners to your address
As for the rental of our items, we need at least one day’s notice to prepare the furniture (arrange them if necessary, pack them in the best way).
After that, the goods are usually returned to us within one week’s time.
If you exceed 20 days, a double rental fee will be applied.
The invoice will be issued and sent the same day the furniture is delivered.
You can pay by bank transfer.
For trade fairs and exhibitions, we recommend our customers to ensure the full value of the goods used.
We take care of the preparation of the pieces, with particular attention to the packaging.
Usually, the customers themselves manage both the collection and delivery of the objects from and back to our store. The rental cost ranges from 15% (furniture) to 20% (lighting).
Terms of payment
All payments by customers can only be made by bank transfer after our invoice is issued.
All sales prices of the products on our site are expressed in Euros and are excluding VAT. The taxes due will be applied according to the country of sale.
Shipping costs are not included in the purchase price, but are indicated and calculated at the time of the conclusion of the purchase process before making the payment.
