Secretaire desk by Borge Mogensen – Code 603

Secretaire desk in oak, designed by Borge Mogensen in the first half of the ’50s. It is a classic of Danish design.

Equipped with four lower drawers, a front opening top that works as a desk, and small drawers and vertical dividing shelves.

Produced by Søborg Møbler, a Danish company that in the 50s and 60s worked with designers and architects to experiment and create attractive looking furniture based on functional concepts.

Mogensen applied an almost scientific and experimental analysis of functionality to his work.

His timeless and elegant designs are characterized by strong and simple lines, reworking traditional forms in a subtle way.
