Peter Hvidt ( 1916/ 1986) – Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen ( 1907 / 1993 ). The couple worked together from 1944 to 1975. In 1944 he designed the Hvidt Potex chair, which was the first stackable chair from Denmark, produced by Frtiz Hansen .

Hvidt and Mølgaard also designed for companies such as Ludwig Pontoppidan, Søborg Möbelfabrik and France & Son . It was with Søborg and especially with France & Søn that they produced their most significant designs. A common feature of the pieces for these two manufacturers was the production of solid wood models.
