Artek X602 Stool – Code 1342

Stool with three feet, in solid curved birch and padded seat in black leather.

Very rare and important edition, both historically and commercially.

In 1954 the Finnish architect introduced a variant of the “L” leg .. the so-called “fan” or “x” leg, both in the seats and in the tables. This new version is the combination of five thin ” L “-shaped legs and join together.

So in ’54 a new series of chairs, stools, tables was launched …. with “X” legs, today objects of great worship and value.
