This chair was designed by architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958, to be located in the lobby of the Radisson SAS hotel in Copenhagen.

Since the atrium was very large and open, surrounded by glass windows, he thought of a seat that could “gather” the visitor in a sort of private corner.

So much so that he thought of an enveloping seat, with impeccable comfort and functionality, and called it Eggs.

An intimate and private “nest” that became an icon of Design.
