Library table BM71 by Borge Mogensen – Code 1419

In 1958 Mogensen designed the so-called “Library Table” BM71 for the Furniture Exhibition of the Carpentry Association, after which it went into production at Fredericia Stolefabrik.

The two side parts are inspired by an English street game table, popular in the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

By raising the side parts the table can be extended to twice its size.

Made of solid wood.

It is an iconic and timeless piece, the ultimate fusion of functionality, balance and elegance.

The table is still produced today by the Danish company Fredericia Furniture, and is made with attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Measures: 126 x 93 x h 71,5 / side extensions 63 x 93
