Sedie BM61 by Borge Mogensen – Code 1424

Mogensen designed two versions of this chair: simple – without armrests ( BM61 ) and with armrests ( BM62 ).

For both versions he thought about the combination of natural and comfortable materials – the frame is made of solid oak and the seat and backrest can be made of natural woven rattan or woven linen strips.

Thanks to the absence of superfluous elements, the clean lines, the perfect anthropometric research, and the balanced proportions, we have once again confirmation of the talent that distinguishes the work of this great Danish architect.

Each project is designed for a social purpose, aimed at a wide audience, with the intention of merging practicality and comfort, pure aesthetic form, and experimentation with the material itself – wood as the protagonist.

These chairs are designed with an “exposed” structure. which remains legible even through the seat and backrest, and an accurate craftsmanship.
