Alf Svenson was an eclectic designer and conceived many of his best-known pieces for the Swedish furniture company Dux, including the “Form” series of chairs and armchairs from the 60s and 70s, in collaboration with designer Yngve Sandström. The series, however, belongs only to a more recent production. In the 1950s he designed pieces with a more typically Scandinavian look, such as the “Te-Ve” series from 1953, and this series, Domus, probably his most popular model, created for the H55 trade fair in Helsinborg in 1955.
